The Story of

My wife’s beloved father had passed away and within a few months our Australian Shepherd dog also passed.

A few weeks later my wife came to me and said she saw an ad for Aussie Pups, that were born on her late father's birthday, so off to the breeder we went.  When we arrived at the so-called breeder, we noticed that the puppies had ticks and who knew what else. Sitting in the corner all by himself, was a white male with a few dark spots. We instantly decided we could not leave without taking him home.  Once at home we cleaned him up, named him, and took him to the Vet. He told us that our puppy had too much white fur in his coat for an Australian Shepherd, and could go deaf, blind or have behavioral issues. Sometimes these dogs are called Lethal Whites, but the correct term is actually Double Merle. The Vet told us we had purchased a lemon.  We took puppy classes and tried to socialize him the best we could.  Fortunately he did not go blind or deaf, but did exhibit behavioral problems, and would snap at strangers.... our sweet dog was a biter.  He likes to play in the back yard, with our other dog, but he spends a lot time in the house.  He is very furry and it seems as though no matter how many times we brush him he sheds all over the house. My wife developed Asthma, and her Doctor told her she would have to give our dog away, but we knew that would be difficult  because he was a biter. The thought of putting our dog down at only a few years old, because of bad breeding, was not an option for us. We needed to find a better way to pick up the dog fur. While trying to vacuum, the fur always got stuck in the tube, not making it all the way to the vacuum cleaner bag. Repeatedly taking the vacuum cleaner apart was a chore and wasted a lot of time. We went through many vacuum cleaners, and  were increasingly frustrated. We love our dogs not their fur. We searched all over to find a product like . Then one day while trying yet another vacuum, we came up with an idea and quickly got on the phone with our cousin who is an Aerospace Engineer. Over the next year we developed an all-natural  formula that not only keeps the vacuum cleaner from getting clogged with pet fur, but also deodorizes the carpeting. Finally a product for pet owners who love their furry pets!

This just goes to show you that if you try hard enough you can make a lemon into lemonade.
